In May of 2007, Mikro Systems moved to a bigger and better location to meet growing demand for its products. Its former 4,800-square-foot facility at 770 Harris Street served the company well during its start-up and early-growth stages of development, but the larger space in the newly renovated Seminole Place Technology Park allows Mikro Systems to significantly expand its operations.

The new facility offers many advantages. The initial 10,000 square feet immediately doubled manufacturing and laboratory space, with an option for an adjoining 10,000 square feet to allow for projected manufacturing growth over the next 3 -5 years. This will enable Mikro Systems to better serve its customers through more efficient work layout and expanded manufacturing operations.
MIKRO SYSTEMS’ new facility is conveniently located for easy access to the University of Virginia, the Albemarle Charlottesville Airport, and a variety of shops, hotels and restaurants.
